Celebration: The Fourth San Antonio Founders Day TM, took place Saturday, October 20, 2007. Each October, our city celebrates its growth and development as a community from the early 1700s until the present. Opening Ceremonies took place in McAllister Auditorium at San Antonio College. The program featured the Orchestra of the University of Texas at San Antonio and Wayne Harper, local entertainer.
After the opening tribute program in the McAllister Auditorium, the audience followed the San Antonio Pipes and Drums across San Pedro Avenue to San Pedro Springs Park. San Antonio Founders DayTM activities continued until 4:30 p.m. in the park. All events were free and open to the public.
